Please join Employment Services of Weld County for a job fair. The following employers will be in attendance: Weld District 6 Transportation, Aims Community College, Aurora Organic Dairy, Interim HealthCare, Energes Services, Allied Universal, Gusher Oilfield, Select Energy, Miller HFI and Cintas. The job fair will be held on Wednesday February 13, 2019. From 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. the job fair is open to U.S. Military Veterans Only and from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. the job fair will be open to the General Public. The event will be held at 315 North 11th Avenue, Building B, Greeley, CO, 80631.

Learn how you can change the lives of your community’s children and teens in foster care by attending the “Share Your Heart” event this Saturday, February 23rd, at the Carbon Valley Regional Library in Firestone. From 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., we will feature short videos and a panel discussion about becoming a foster parent, respite provider or CASA volunteer, together with our co-host, Life Stories Child & Family Advocacy. We hope to see you there!

Spring is approaching, and with it, comes the threat of thunderstorms, tornadoes, and floods. In addition to having an emergency preparedness plan in place, residents can be better prepared for severe weather by attending the Weather Spotter Training Class on March 26.
The Weld County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is hosting a free Weather Spotter Training Class at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, located in the Weld County Administration Building, 1150 O St., Greeley. The class is free, but a reservation is required.
